On your first day, you will receive a Personal Development Plan tailored to your specific background and experience. This plan will outline your training requirements, which will encompass:
- Induction and follow up workshops
- A mix of internal and external off site courses
- Skills and mindset education and training
- Group and one to one coaching

Once you are a Recruitment Consultant there are 3 main routes you can take:
The Managerial route
If you are interested in people management, after proving yourself as a successful Consultant, you'll be given a fast-track mentoring scheme to develop the necessary management skills. As a Manager you'll be responsible for developing a team of consultants and the profitability of your team. From a Manager's position, you will potentially progress to Director level, a role involving group wide initiatives and the management of several teams.
From Director level the world is your oyster...
The Multinational / Multidisciplinary route
This is the ideal way to gain experience in different markets, either by working abroad or simply within a different discipline. With 149 offices worldwide and a choice of 17 different disciplines, Michael Page is able to offer a unique variety of options once you have established yourself within the business.
The Executive Consultant route
Some consultants choose to remain in their chosen field for significant periods of time, becoming highly experienced and knowledgeable in their particular market. For these outstanding consultants we are able to offer a variety of opportunities which enable them to operate within their specialist markets at an executive level.
