Benefits

Benefits are a valuable part of your total compensation at RSM McGladrey and McGladrey & Pullen. Your benefits package provides protection for you and your family with expenses shared by the firm for services available to you at discounted group rates. Below is a brief summary of the choices available to all eligible regular, full-time or qualified part-time employees.

Medical Benefits - Your medical choices are designed to provide broad, comprehensive protection and cover a wide range of medical services and supplies. For medical benefits, you can elect the PPO plan, one of two Consumer Choice Plans, EPO plan (if available), or HMO plan (if available).

Dental Benefits - Whether or not you elect medical coverage, you may choose dental benefits for yourself and your dependents. For dental benefits you may select the Ameritas PPO or CIGNA DMO. A general description of these plans will be available to you upon request.

Vision Benefits - Vision benefits are offered through Vision Service Plan (VSP). If you go to a VSP provider, you pay a small co-payment and the plan pays the rest. There are no claim forms to file and no identification cards are issued for this plan.

Life Insurance Benefits - Life insurance offers an important source of financial protection. We provide basic life and AD&D coverage as well as business travel accident insurance at no cost to you. You decide if you want additional life and AD&D coverage for yourself, your spouse/partner, and your dependents.

Long-Term Disability - The long-term disability plan provides continuing income when an illness or injury prevents you from working for an extended period of time. LTD benefits offer financial protection after short-term disability benefits provided by the company are exhausted.

Retirement and Savings Programs

401 (k) - As a new full-time employee, you are automatically enrolled in our retirement plan at 6%. Part-time, temporary or seasonal, may also choose to participate in the 401(k) plan. The plan offers a diverse selection of investment choices including a self-directed brokerage option. A Roth 401(k) option is also available.

401(k) Match - The 401(k) match is available to those employees who complete one year of service (1000 hours) in a calendar year and are still active employees on December 31st. The Firm will match $.50 per dollar on your contributions, up to 6% of pay.

Time off Benefits

Holidays - The firm provides for 8 paid holidays (including one personal day) to all regular employees. Holiday pay is pro-rated for employees with part time or reduced schedule work arrangements.

Paid Time Off - The firm encourages employees to have balance in their lives. The Paid Time Off (PTO) program is designed to provide flexibility for you to take time off from work for a variety of reasons including vacation, family/child care matters, personal business, etc. Your individual PTO accrual is based on your level and years of service and ranges from 15 to 25 days per year.

Summer Hours - During the summer, employees throughout the organization are able to compress their workweek in order to leave early on Fridays when client workloads permit. This opportunity is available for all employees, internal and external client servers. Short-term disability.
