Job description
The Schindler Career Development Program (SCDP) is a 4 to 6 year, on-the-job leadership training program and is reserved for selected candidates holding a Masters degree and consists of:
Three stages, each stage a 2-3 year management job in a real position
Three functional career tracks: Engineering, Field Operations, Business Administration
Systematic rotation between career tracks
International exchange for two years
Mobility is the goal
The responsiblities for this position are:
Review financial statements and related records of Schindler offices for appropriateness of accounting and financial reporting/procedures.
Identify internal control weaknesses and business efficiency opportunities within the business processes as well as accounting/reporting deficiencies and noncompliance to Schindler regulations.
Prepare specific audit programs for each single audit, independently organize/execute the audit fieldwork, compose added value audit reports and develop recommendations.
Follow up and support the implementation of agreed upon plans.
Participate on due diligence assignments.
As a successful incumbent, you will be eligible for an international assignment with Schindlers Group (global headquarters) Audit department.
Who we are looking for
Ideal Candidate:
The Internal Auditer must be an independent, self-starting, flexible individual with significant development potential. Additional qualifications include:
Masters degree required. Will consider recent or 2008 Masters graduate.
3.5 GPA or higher to be eligible for SCDP (must be able to provide proof through transcript)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
2-3 years internal or external auditing experience preferred
Excellent analytical skills, articulate, good communication skills (both oral and written)
Able to travel up to 40% within the US and Canada (2 weeks per audit)
Must be internationally mobile to be eligible for SCDP
