Job description
MRU Holdings Incorporated is seeking a high energy and enthusiastic candidate looking to work in a small but rapidly growing group which means you will get broad exposure across the enterprise and to top management. In addition to interacting with the Controller, you will interact with the Treasurer and Head of Capital Markets. They are seeking candidates who do not consider this to be their last job, but rather just the beginning of an ascending career.
Responsibilities will include:
• Analyze, verify and post transactions to ledger
• Reconcile balances to company subsidiary systems
• Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records for management
• May specialize in one or more functional areas
• Financial statement, 10Q, 10K preparation
• The position reports to the Assistant Controller
Who we are looking for
Our client is looking for a dynamic individual that can function in an growth-oriented environment. They should have:
Requirements:
• Finance, accounting, or other relevant degree
• Public accounting experience a plus
• SOX 404 experience a plus
• 3+ years experience in accounting required.
• Big 4 accounting firm highly preferred.
