Job description
The Senior Financial Consultant position will be based in Chicago, Illinois, and will work within the Management Consulting team. Responsibilities include:
• Preparation of financial and operational assessments
• Development of financial models, analysis and delivery of data to support management decision making
• Assisting with the development of financial packages to track key performance metrics
• Managing the client relationship (typically in conjunction with Firm management and/or account management personnel in various locations)
• Developing and managing scope, hours and costs of work performed
• Technical project management
• RFP and proposal development assistance
• Identify other business opportunities and grow practice
• Manage project to client satisfaction and budget
• 25% travel is required with this position. International travel will be required

Who we are looking for
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Must be FLUENT in Spanish
• Analytical ability required to identify variances and research issues regarding financial activity, identify opportunities to improve accounting processes & procedures, reducing cost & improving profitability
• Accounting skills necessary to review records and financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Ability to coordinate information flow with multiple sources (Client management, team, staff, etc.)
• Technology skills including those required to be proficient with financial accounting systems including Excel
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to promote positive working relationships with diverse personalities/roles at all levels in the firm
• A high energy, self-starter is required to be successful in this Senior Financial Consultant role

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years of accounting/finance work experience; prior experience as a Consultant within a professional services firm is highly preferred
• International experience with Spanish language skills is required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field is required. Designation as a CPA, is a plus. MBA is preferred.
