Job description
Summary:
• This position is based in Dublin, Ireland.
• The Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for the creation of value-added sales tools to support our mutual fund investments business, focusing on long product. The person will be responsible for ensuring that marketing communications are comprehensive and up to date.

Duties and responsibilities:
1. Campaign Management: concept, develop (i.e. thought process and creative message execution) and implementation of marketing campaigns. This includes;
a. Working with investment teams based in Dublin and the US to translate key messages into the relevant marketing materials as appropriate (these could include Sales Focus pieces, presentations, web interviews, PR articles, etc)
b. Working closely with colleagues in other marketing centers (ex. Milan and Munich) to maximize international marketing output and avoid duplication of efforts
c. Working in close partnership with the sales and regional marketing coordinators and marketing champions to develop appropriate campaigns
d. Developing sales aids and brochures from internal reports and data generated by the research and investment teams
e. Actively managing in-house design and legal departments
f. Copywriting for new concepts and editing of existing pieces
g. Actively managing sales team's expectations regarding marketing communications campaign activity
h. Proof-reading marketing materials as required
2. E-commerce Support: Input to content and messages on websites both internally and externally, for the different target markets
3. Supporting Team: Providing input to all other marketing material as required
4. Brand Management: On-going review of all literature to ensure it promotes the brand and adheres to set guidelines
5. Relationship Management: working closely with teams both internally and externally (design, events, compliance, investment communications, relationship management)

Who we are looking for
Competencies:
• Excellent knowledge and experience of working in a fast moving, dynamic investments area
• Languages: English (fluent)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Copy-writing and proof-reading skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of the Mutual Fund industry and interest in this area
• A good eye for detail
• Computer skills (Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Excel, Bloomberg, Datastream, etc)
• A proactive, flexible outlook. They should be able to work well as part of a team as well as manage project independently.
• Candidates may come from a Financial Journalism background.

Experience and Qualifications
• 3-4 years experience in marketing or investments
