Job description
The Equity Business group in New York is seeking highly motivated and experienced individual to be a part of our Core Equity product team. This is an exciting opportunity for Senior level individuals with a strong background in equity research, trading, portfolio management, or security analysis.
The individual will share responsibilities in all areas of the core equity business, which includes the following: identifying market and business opportunity, establishing a strategic plan, designing business and functional requirements for development projects, and identifying critical data sets. A successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with our sales force and large client base to identify needs and opportunities. The ideal candidate will also possess strategic vision and have strong market knowledge and execution skills.
Who we are looking for
Qualifications:
• 7 or more years of experience as a Buy Side Analyst, Portfolio Manager, Investment Management (Equity focus) or Sell Side Analyst with buyside experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• MBA or CFA a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong quantitative skills
• Understanding of equity fundamental analysis
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Innovative thinker with realistic approach to Equity Markets
