DIRECTOR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & LICENSING IN PUBLISHING - (Bilboard Magazine, Hollywood Reporter, Adweek Magazine)

Nielsen Business Media currently has a rewarding career opportunity for an aggressive Business Development and Licensing professional to join their team. In this role, the ideal candidate will drive new revenue streams by generating new business opportunities with third parties to strategically utilize our world-class brands (Billboard, Hollywood Reporter, Adweek) and information to create new products and services. In addittion, the ideal candidate will generate, negotiate and close business deals.


• Aggressively conceive and create new business opportunities across online, mobile, TV and radio.

• Actively analyze, negotiate and close new business deals.

• Assess and understand marketplace trends and their impact on business opportunities.

• Manage client relationships to maximize business opportunity potential.

• Work with the team to deliver on aggressive strategic business plan and revenue targets.

Who we are looking for
• A minimum of 3-5 years experience in Business Development or Licensing.
• Experience in publishing/entertainment fields preferred.
• Aggressive sales acumen and ability to generate, negotiate and close deals.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with music & entertainment industries a plus.
