Job description
The Chief Risk Officer will play a pivotal role in the oversight & execution of the Firm's Risk Management & Compliance functions. Working closely w/ the CEO & CFO, the incumbent will be responsible for developing & implementing risk assessment policies, monitoring strategies & platform frameworks.
Who we are looking for
The qualified candidate will offer:
- 10+ years industry experience required;
- Extensive experience w/in Enterprise Risk Management, Audit and Regulatory/SOX Compliance;
- The ability to effectively interface with Board of Directors, the executive team & external firms;
- Superior knowledge of SOX, as well as excellent knowledge of bank regulatory issues, rules & regulations at the Federal, State & local levels;
- Strong leadership & management skills
