Job description
Through an intensive training program, the candidate will get acquainted with the flexible production and R&D capabilities of our production sites in Belgium, the extensive product portfolio, and the specific market mechanisms of both Gourmand label and Private label distribution of frozen dough products
After having successfully completed the training program, the candidate will obtain direct responsibility for the commercial development of the North-East Area
The majority of his/her time will be devoted to prospecting and developing new customer and distributor relationships in the Area
Progressively the candidate will build an extensive and powerful network of contacts and commercial relationships in both the bakery- and bake-off (retail) channels. Fieldwork will easily absorb 70 to 80% of the candidates active time
The preparation, organizing, developing and implementing of new business proposals and concepts, provide a rich job content
In due time, the candidate will become responsible for building a local sales team/organisation and broker-network
The candidate will report directly to the North-America Export Manager of the Belgian Head Office
Who we are looking for
five to ten years of sales experience
experienced in the food and/or food-related B2B industry, by preference in bakery-products and/or bakery ingredients
bachelor degree
analytical
dynamic
strong organisational talent
self-disciplined, hard worker
