Job description
Due to continued growth in the Corporate Headquarters, located in New York City, Dover is seeking to recruit a Senior Tax Accountant to work closely with the Assistant Tax Director on the full range of federal tax compliance.
Major job responsibilities include, but are not limited to
• Working with the Assistant Tax Director in compiling, organizing and analyzing financial data used for federal tax return preparation
• Assist in preparation of a very large and complex electronically filed consolidated federal income tax return utilizing CORPTAX®
• Communication with subsidiaries for the consolidated tax return preparation
• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual income tax provisions
• Reconciliation and analysis of key tax accounts in the financial system throughout the year
• Involvement in FAS 109 and FIN 48 issues
• Assist in computation of quarterly estimated federal income tax payments
Who we are looking for
The successful Senior Tax Accountant will have a minimum of 4 years experience, hold a BS/BA degree in Accounting and have an understanding of FAS 109 and FIN 48 issues. All applicants must be proficient in using CORPTAX tax compliance software.
