About the company
As a result of the recent acquisition of offshore mining tenements in the Philippines our client is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager.You will oversee the exploration and exploitation of the project with a view to transitioning the sites into full scale mining operations in due course.
Job description
On establishing the resource base, the successful candidate will be responsible for all mine development and production activities. Key to your success will be your ability to implement effective operational logistics and strategies for increasing and maintaining mine production whilst adhering to processing and transportation schedules. Moreover, you will strive to create a positive, professional and high performance working environment to ensure the ongoing success of the operation.
Who we are looking for
A strong track record in project management and senior operational management in heavy rock/precious metal mining is essential. Prior exposure to offshore magnetite mining is highly desirable. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a positive and effective leadership style, a high degree of motivation as well as a commitment to high productivity, quality and cost effectiveness.
What's on offer
Salary is negotiable upwards on 200K-300K USD (base)+ Full expatriate package (flights, accommodation) + Options + Bonus
