Our client is a household name in the Business Services Industry.
Job description
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following:
• Bank reconcilations for four bank accounts
• Monthly multi-state sales tax returns
• Monthly account analysis and general ledger reconcilations (A/R, A/P, prepaid expenses, insurance, fixed assets and depreciation, accruals, notes payable, payroll, Fed Ex, Amex and telephone bills)
• Preparation and input of journal entries
• Maintenance of vendor workers compensation certificates and files
• 1099's
• Creating, enhancing and maintaining financial management reports
• Forecast
• Any ad hoc projects
Who we are looking for
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting with at least at 3.2 GPA
• 3-5 years of similiar experience
• Experience with job cost accounting preferred
• Timberline accounting system experience is a plus
• Proficient in MS Excel especially with pivot tables and macros
What's on offer
This is a temporary to permanent position paying between $30 and $40 per hour.
