Job description
Product Development Manager (including Energy Efficiency)
Job Purpose:
Build compelling consumer propositions in the core utility and energy efficiency markets
Build profits: Build Home Service USA's future pipeline of compelling propositions to increase the key profitability drivers: products per customer and customer penetration
Build future business: support the Business Development and Corporate Development team by developing new emergency service and Energy Efficiency propositions that are compelling for prospective utility partners
Build team capability by implementing a culture of insightful innovation and training.
Role
Provide thorough knowledge and understanding of the state of the utility and energy efficiency markets, competitors and alternatives. Identify and share with stakeholders (such as Customer Service, Outbound, SVPs) key market, customer and competitor insights.
In collaboration with the SVP Marketing and the Marketing Managers, set a clear vision for the new product and energy efficiency propositions and secure agreement to plans and budgets to deliver it.
Formulate the customer, contract, income and expenditure budgets
Develop and manage a test plan to make sure the top 5 next biggest ideas are in test
Developing new products and enhancing existing ones.
Develop new creatives for all channels which improve response rates among existing customer segments, reach new customer segments (with existing products) and/or sell new products.
Update the sales and marketing activity plan and financial forecast as well as ensure all spending is managed to budget.
Liaise with other Marketing Managers to ensure that the right products are being sold to the right customers at the right time.
Work with the Repair Management network team to ensure that the products and services are being delivered as promised, and that we identify key opportunities to improve the service, test and commercialise these if appropriate.

Develop sound working relationships with your key internal stakeholders: inbound call centre, outbound telemarketing, customer relations, retention, marketing production, marketing services, commercial finance, Home Hotline.
