Job description
Our client is searching for enterprising individuals to join their Sales team. Data Sales is growing at a rapid pace and our client is looking for swift and seasoned professionals to help them expand their global sales operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the direct sales of static and real-time financial data products. You will be managing accounts and providing solutions, organization-wide and to individual user groups and applications, within front, middle, and back office clients. You will use your strong interpersonal skills in this client facing role.
Who we are looking for
BS/BA or equivalent experience
Minimum of 4 years demonstrated success conducting financial business to business sales
Understanding of operational and technical infrastructure of financial firms
Knowledge of software, data licensing, warehousing and centralization
Proven ability to identify new prospects and build lasting relationships
Experience selling market data
Possession of existing financial contacts is advantageous
Skills to provide maintenance and develop new sales within existing clients
Aptitude to excel in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment
Japanese, Italian, German, Spanish, French a plus
