Our client is a subsidiary of a fast growing European company in the Robotic industry.
Job description
As our Sales Director for North America, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and growing client relationships in the USA and Canada. You will hold primary responsibility for direct sales to all potential clients within this territory. There will be a core focus on designing-in products to aerospace companies. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Initiate sales activities to stimulate, encourage, establish and develop account relationships for our products and services
Provide territory management data: forecasts, account management documentation, and activity reports to management providing the basis for sales planning
Identify, evaluate and respond to key business issues of the account and develop, present and demonstrate our capabilities to the potential customer
Responsible for the initiation, arrangement and attendance for product demonstrations as needed
Maintains knowledge required for detailed product demonstration and customized presentations
Participate in trade show and other product events
Gather product enhancements requests and provide formal feedback the necessary internal contacts
Interface with Engineering to modify/ develop products
Who we are looking for
You must:
Be a problem solver with a get it done attitude and strong self motivational attributes
Be Comfortable selling at both the executive level as well as the engineering level
Demonstrate customer focus by meeting and continuously exceeding customer expectations
Have a College degree or equivalent
Have an excellent ability to communicate at all levels within an organization required with strong presentation skills.
Have teamwork and interpersonal savvy because of the various external and internal interfaces within the organization
Have excellent time management skills with ability to handle pressure and prioritize under stress while meeting all client and team deadlines
Have ability to work with minimal supervision to meet individual and team goals
With at least 10 years of sales experience in the aerospace industry, you have the drive and charisma to become the US Country Manager.
