Job description
FES is a young business growing at a rapid rate and as such we are looking for a controller to join the organization and take full ownership of the finance, accounting and operational functions for the company. Reporting directly to the President, key duties will include;

• Coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions.
• Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments.
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
• Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to senior management.
• Manage the preparation of official daily and weekly report of actual sales, revenues, transfers, and expenses.
• Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts.
• Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
• Develop five year and ten year business plans for the company.
• Establish and implement short- and long-range corporate goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Serve as primary legislative liaison relative to company financial issues.
• Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.

Who we are looking for
Due to the current development stage of the business, we are looking for an experienced and hands on Financial Controller.

All applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or a CPA with at least 10 years experience working as a Controller for a medium sized business. Prior experience working in a start up environment would be beneficial.

What's on offer
$100,000 to $115,000 depending upon recent relevant experience. Plus bonus and benefits.
