Our client provides leading edge software solutions and market data to the global financial services industry.

It provides software solutions and real-time market data to fund managers, hedge funds, asset managers.

We are looking a Sales Director with direct work experience in the financial markets, enterprise software and/or trade processing solutions.

Job description
The Sales Director is directly responsible for identifying, contacting, qualifying and developing viable new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts in North America.

• Identifying new clients and opportunities, prospecting, pursuing leads, and enlisting new customers: this is a Hunter role (opposed to a farmer one),

• Business to business prospecting (Cold Calling),

• Negotiating contracts and closing opportunities,

• Establish and develop relationships with prospects, clients and industry influencers at all business levels.

Who we are looking for
• 5 to 10 years experience managing sales processes for trading related software solutions,

• Strong industry knowledge (fund management, mutual funds, pension funds, hedge funds, institutional brokerage, asset management),

• Experience managing the entire sales process from developing the opportunity, organizing or delivering relevant workshops and demonstrations, to contract negotiation and closure,

• Experience with broad range of sales cycles including shorter telephone based sales all the way to longer enterprise sales with top tier global financial institutions,

• Ability to work effectively and enthusiastically in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment,

• Highly results oriented. Creative and proactive in terms of seeking and selling to prospects.
