An International firm is looking to expand its business into the USA with a highly profitable business services concept.
Job description
The Business Development role also includes ongoing relationship and account management with the clients involved as well as eventual management of a small tele sales team.
The Business Development position is key to the growth of the US business and will be directly influential and assessed upon revenue generation.
The successful candidate will
To develop the designated sales territory and/or named accounts through the process of lead generation resulting in increased sales of products and services.
To develop and sustain long-term client relationships that will facilitate and support the ongoing development of nominated accounts.
To maximise the sale of products and services from nominated customer accounts and consistently exceed monthly and yearly sales targets
To ensure customer reference-ability and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction across all nominated customer accounts.
To work within a team structure comprising sales, service delivery, product operations and product/service development and be an integral part of the Utilities Team function working closely with the Director and other Customer Account Managers to contribute positively to the development of the operation to ensure delivery of the overall revenue targets.
To deliver value to customers by understanding their business, projects and implementations and by providing informed advice and innovative solutions
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have come from an established B2B sales background and will have been speaking with C level client contacts.
Those having developed business for Consultancies and other Business Services are preferred however a very strong demonstrated track record of sales success and revenue generation is key in all applications
An ability to function and be successful in a proactive "start up" stand alone environment is key
The ability to grow with the business, making an immediate impact with sales but also building a team long-term.
Outstanding presentation and communication skills
A bachelors degree is required.
