Our client, Sukano Polymers Corp. is located in Duncan, SC and is seeking an Account Manager with experience in the Masterbatch industry.

Job description
Overall purpose of role:
- The Account Manager is responsible for all sales functions in assigned accounts or regions, by managing quality and consistency of product and service delivery under the direction of Company's Sales & Marketing Manager or her/his designee. Within sales and with support of others, she/he shall be responsible for coordinating and performing sales and marketing tasks for the Company's products in the Americas including Acquisition & Commercialization, Pre Sales Management, Customer
Relationship Management, Technical Customer Support, Market Study, Exhibitions & Events, Product Management, Marketing Communications and such other related responsibilities as the Sales & Marketing Manager or her/his designee may assign to him/her from time to time.
Key responsibilities:
• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
• Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
• Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services
• Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up
• Perform reporting in accordance with Sukano group guidelines
• Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
• Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales
• Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock
• Responsible for obtaining early account information on all upcoming programs and to successfully secure strategic objectives at the assigned cus

Who we are looking for
Requirements:
• Strong salesman/woman type of person
• Technical and processing knowledge in filmextrusion, (deep-drawing), further processing knowledge in other fields is a plus
• Candidate is used to work independent
• All what we do is to be customer focused
• Candidate to have at least 3 years experience in selling masterbatches in PET/PETG/PC/PLA
• Minimum travel time of 50% to customers and prospects
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule which may require occasional overnight travel and weekend/evening work.
• Willing to live and work in Duncan SC, home office is not something we push, but, at least we ask the candidate to be a couple of working days/month at the plant in SC after a local introduction period.
• Leadership Minimum of five years senior management experience
• Business Experience Preferably 5-8 years customer service experience in a manufacturing environment with min. 3 years in masterbatch or compounds.
• Previous sales experience with proven sales record
• Business Approach Entrepreneurial business approach required
• Motivation Aggressive and highly motivated, self-starter who is customer oriented
