Job Description

  • Secure new clients and substantially increase sales with existing clients in order to achieve or exceed all individual sales goals for new and some recurring business within assigned accounts/territory.
  • Create and execute a business plan to drive revenue within all prospect and client organizations; identify and address current and future growth opportunities.
  • Deliver a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach with prospects and clients.
  • Identify and qualify new prospects and opportunities, determine business and workforce plans, and develop strategically aligned advertising and specialty product resource offerings to meet recruiting needs.
  • Initiate and deliver sales proposals and demonstrations with key decision makers and stakeholders, to negotiate/overcome objections to close deals.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline for future business in order to meet all monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Work with existing advertising and specialty product clients, to enhance growth opportunities.
  • Seek out new advertising and specialty product clients, both within, and outside of our industry focus.
  • Ability to travel 50% within the Midwest region

The Successful Applicant

  • B.S. Degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Technical degree or related work experience is preferred
  • Willing to travel
  • Strong communication skills and negotiation capabilities
  • Ability to close new business
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Results driven, passion to succeed, resourceful
  • Self-motivated, energetic, enthusiastic
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
