Job Description

To generate new and sustainable revenue growth for key accounts in the Power & Tech sector, through the identification of new sales opportunities, retention and upselling new services.

To manage and strengthen long-term relationships with existing customers and form part of an account management team, focused on developing, forecasting and managing a revenue pipeline to achieve monthly targets.

Reporting directly to the global account managers for accounts assigned and locally to the North America Sector Head.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven track record of managing multi-million $ revenue streams
  • Managing and improving revenue for a territory through proven sales methodologies
  • Managing a revenue pipeline to ensure sales targets are met
  • Managing all stages of a deal from prospecting, qualifying, objection handling through to deal closure
  • Experience of working collaboratively with a telesales team to deliver sales targets
  • Significant experience in selling complex professional services into a complex environment
  • A consultative approach to sales and relationship management at senior-level
  • Experience of the following would be preferable but not essential:
  • Procurement and supply-chain
  • Power Technology and Automation or Chemical sector experience
  • Experience managing major clients
  • A highly self-motivated and proactive individual exhibiting an outgoing, confident and disciplined style.
  • Significant levels of energy and enthusiasm are a must.
  • High degree of commercial contractual acumen.
  • Ability to adapt and establish credibility with existing customers and other employees quickly and effectively.
  • A creative, lateral thinker, able to constructively build on the existing sales model. An individual with the propensity to challenge existing levels of delivery, and who will work constantly to exceed expectations.
  • Excellent communication: presentation skills, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Adaptable and results oriented - able to be effective in a dynamic company and demonstrate progress through tangible results.
  • An individual who values honesty and integrity and works ceaselessly to attain results and meet the opportunity presented.
  • A strong solution oriented individual who views customers as opportunities and thrives on the resolution of problems
  • Well-organised individual with an effective use of time management and an ability to prioritise effectively and be flexible where necessary.
  • Professional at all times, with the highest work ethic and standards.
  • Language proficiency: English at business level is a must, Spanish and Portuguese is a plus
