About Our Client
Growing Technology Startup with office located in NYC
Generate monthly financial statements (balance sheet, cash flow, income statement) in accordance with GAAP. Preparation of regular tax filings. Prepare client invoicing and ensure accounts receivable are collected promptly. Ensure accounts payable are paid weekly. Conduct monthly expense reviews with senior management. Respond to credit card disputes and failed payments. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget. Review monthly financial and operational metrics. Compare monthly performance with forecasts and budget. Assist Sales Operations on monthly reports. Ad hoc reporting and financial analysis.
The Successful Applicant
6+ years relevant experience. Extensive experience with QuickBooks. CPA required. Basic financial modeling and solid Excel skills. Bachelors in accounting or finance preferred. Strong track record of thriving in a fast moving environment. Deep expertise in accounting. Extraordinary attention to detail. The ability to move quickly and get things done.
