Job Description

  • Obtain and maintain thorough understanding of the general ledger structure.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
  • Collaborate with other Accounting Managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding financial results and special reporting.
  • Work with CFO to ensure clean and timely year-end audit.
  • Provide training to new and existing team members.
  • Support the CFO with special projects and work-flow process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Skilled in preparing accurate and complete financial reports from accounting records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate thoughts clearly.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
  • High adaptable, detail oriented.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively and independently.
