Job Description

Not for the candidate taking a reactive approach to issues, but instead acts proactively by constantly looking for ways to contribute to both your team and to the firm.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Analytically review and oversee monthly calculations of guarantee, discretionary, and performance-based compensation accruals
  • Design complex front office performance-based bonus models for accrual calculations, and assist in the design and implementation of a new compensation system
  • Create and present reporting to front office business leads on a quarterly basis
  • Coordinate year-end audit testing of compensation accruals
  • Manage the accounting team's year-end compensation process (compensation estimates, final accruals, and year-end reconciliation of payments to the general ledger)
  • Collaborate with other teams to assist in streamlining and automate processes
  • Ad-hoc projects as they arise

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, the candidate should posses the following skills and experience:

  • B.S with concentration in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years of experience in related role required (CPA preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suit (Excel in particular)
  • Outgoing, fast-paced, high-energy personality with strong communication and presentation skills
