Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Establish, maintain, and communicate policies, procedures, approval limits and guidelines for general ledger accounting, fixed assets, and cost accounting per regional guidelines. Document, communicate, and establish T&E policies and procedures, rules and regulations. Provide training on accounts payable policies, procedures, and compliance
  • Define and maintain storage of digital and hard copy documents. Define rules for archiving and returning any hard copy documents if required by Affiliate. Maintain all vendor and payment-related files in digital format in Affiliate archival system. Maintain documentation for payables procedures
  • Perform regular reviews and updates of current policies. Develop regular cadence to review current policies to determine any changes required. Establish controls to ensure policies are enforced across affiliates. Monitor policy adherence across affiliates and Service Provider employees.
  • Update Master Data Information. Clean up of vendor master based on recommendations from Service Provider and / or affiliates. Review and, if and when appropriate, approve the vendor master change requests submitted by Service Provider or Affiliates. Send approved vendor master change requests (including new vendors) to Service Provider or Affiliates
  • Set Master Data Policies. Review and approve vendor master procedures proposed by customers or service providers. Maintain and update, where required, master data policies to ensure it meets the needs of the organization

The Successful Applicant

KEY COMPETENCIES AND QUAILIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  2. 3-5 years of experience in developing, maintaining, and enforcing policies and procedures
  3. Previous experience within a shared service environment is preferred
  4. Strong organization skills and detail oriented to track policy adherence
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage effectively across customers and levels
  6. Ability to put structure around ambiguous situations
  7. Work cross-functionally and influence individuals
  8. Ability to multi-task multiple activities simultaneously
