Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of weight loss solutions and have large number of products in the market containing no artificial preservatives or artificial flavors. Current offerings are sold directly to consumers via home delivery or selected retailers throughout the U.S. and Canada. With a very robust e-commerce platform accounting for more than 70% of the transactions, they are well known for direct marketing prowess and strategic use of customer and celebrity success stories to operate in a large and growing market.

As a result, they are looking to employ a Analytics & Insight Manager expert with a solid SAS experience to join their Financial & Operations team. The successful individual will work very closely with the Business, senior stakeholders, marketing and IT team to track / monitor customer behaviors and provide insight and solutions to improve revenue for the business.



Summary of the role includes:

  • Support analysis, discussions and conclusions around reactivation revenue, revenue per customer, life time value, length of stay, and price / promotion. Support revenue projections to be used in company's decision making processes.
  • Identify key touch points and factors that influence and predict customer behavior. Provide useful and actionable recommendations for acting on the findings.
  • Build and improve current reporting procedures to monitor business and identify red flags.
  • Track customer behavior trends and monitor factors impacting revenue, communicating key drivers and variances to management: retention, length of stay, reactivation and product mix.
  • Streamline reporting & increase insights, integrating and standardizing new KPIs into daily, weekly, monthly dashboards as needed.
  • Perform data mining, statistical analysis and modeling on customer and transaction data to provide insight into business performance and suggest areas and methods of improving operations
  • Work with internal business owners to understand and support their needs and perform database marketing analysis to improve marketing efficiency and drive stronger business results
  • Develop ad hoc analysis and reports as required in support of key company KPIs and revenue drivers

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications (Include Education and Specific Experience)

  • B.A. degree in economics, or a B.S. degree in statistics, mathematics, research methods and statistical analytics, or related field.
  • M.S. in these same fields or an MBA, strongly preferred.
  • Candidate must have 3-5 years of experience in SAS and be proficient in EXCEL
  • Candidate must have 3-5 years business experience, manipulating and analyzing large data sets
