Expanding imported premium soda company

Job Description

  • Working in the field daily with sales representative to help train team.
  • Conduct weekly salesperson reviews providing insight for improvement of sales activity.
  • Regular communication with corporate office regarding sales and distributor performance
  • Work in the field to open accounts when not working with our sales reps.
  • Work with distributor management on additional programs and entry into chain accounts.
  • Trade show attendance
  • Some sampling/demo work

The Successful Applicant

  • Must live in NYC, Queens, Brooklyn or Western Nassau County
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience serving as sales manager with at least 3 direct reports .
  • Must have understanding of promotional structures.
  • Prior outside sales experience (2+ years)
  • Outstanding motivational and coaching skills; a team builder and proven leader.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must have a car and good driving record
  • Candidate must be able to function with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree required
