Our client is a national real estate investment and management firm focused on value-add and opportunistic investment strategies covering high-productivity cities across the US but with particular strength in the Texas multifamily market.

Job Description

Reporting to the CIO the real estate Asset Manager - Multifamily will lead property due diligence on the acquisition of new assets and optimize the subsequent value of a strong portfolio initially concentrated in central Texas. Other responsibilities: * Work closely with the Director of Property Management to set the overall asset management strategy for each property in the portfolio that meets the firm's goals * Deliver a broad range of asset management services in respect of the overall real estate portfolio. * Ensure effective management of and communication with local and on site property management teams. * Ensure development, approval and execution of business plans for each property. * Effectively monitor, analyze and communicate about performance through delivery of required periodic financial reporting. * Manage multiple complex construction, leasing, improvement and sales projects with aggressive timelines. * Ensure that all documentation is effectively secured, filed, maintained and managed whether electronically or physically. * Form effective working relationships and networks with vendors, contractors, property managers, accountants, attorneys, appraisers, brokers, and other service providers. * Travel to property locations, client meetings, and internal meetings on an as needed basis.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelors Degree in related field, ideally an MBA from top university. * Minimum of 5+ years of real estate asset management experience. * Proficiency in acquisition due diligence, analytics, leasing and ongoing property value creation. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a recognized Property Management suite * The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously * Experience within the multifmaily space is required; prefer experience in central TX but will consider other geographies.

What's on Offer

Strong base salary plus bonus. Salary will depend on current compensation and level of experience.
