About Our Client

This Atlanta based company is extremely well-known in the multifamily construction market and has built thousands of units across the Southeast region over the past several years. As an Assistant Superintendent with this organization, you will be supporting a market rate multifamily construction projects from the very beginning, all the way through to completion.

Job Description

Key responsibilities for the Assistant Superintendent will include:

  • Establish and develop professional relationships with on-site staff, providing leadership to them
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each subcontract, drawings and specifications
  • Identify constructability issues, design deficiencies, code violations and any other issues
  • Communicate schedule updates to all subcontractors and vendors
  • Ensure that subcontractors regularly communicate and enforce their safety programs in order to meet OSHA safety standards
  • Review the subcontractor's daily progress of work completed and deliver progress reports
  • Consistently lead projects through comprehensive completion by establishing aggressive dates and schedules

The Successful Applicant

  • Ground up experience with wood frame multifamily projects
  • Ability to engage professionally with clients, subcontractors and skilled trades
  • Strong knowledge of construction terms, reading plans and planning and scheduling concepts
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred

What's on Offer

  • Base salary of $60,000 - $80,000
