Job Description

Responsibility:

  • Set up, operate, maintain and repair equipment used to enhance live events, such as microphones, video recorders, projectors, lighting and sound mixing equipment.
  • Record meetings and presentations with video cameras, operate spotlights, adjust amplifiers, coordinate graphics used in displays
  • Provide technical support for teleconferences, webinars and distance-learning classes.
  • Edit, copy and store videotapes and DVDs, track inventory of equipment and order supplies.

The Successful Applicant

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree. Major in, broadcasting or communications is preferred
  • Ability to transport, assemble, maintain and repair equipment used in multimedia production.
  • Knowledge of camera and lighting techniques is essential, and familiarity with editing equipment and software may be required.
  • Creative and flexible with strong communication skills and the ability to interact with coworkers and clients, often under deadline pressure.
  • Proficient with computer systems used in multimedia production and word processing skills.
  • Sit and stand for long periods of time and have good hearing and eyesight.
  • 2-3 yrs of work experience in audio and visual supporting



Skill:

Essential:

  • Team Player with a positive & flexible attitude to the workplace
  • LED Videowall, Video Projection & switcher Operation
  • IT across a broad range of devices & applications Mac, Microsoft Office etc.
  • Operating remote controlled or stand-alone video cameras



Desirable:

  • Basic Lighting skills
  • Networking, IP & Wi-Fi
