Job Description

Benefits Analyst Components (Including But Not Limited To):

Benefits

* Ownership of day-to-day benefit administration

* Monitor benefit system integration and benefit vendors

* Partner with HRIS team in maintaining data integrity and correcting errors

* Partner with Benefits Manager to identify program changes and communicate requirements to HRIS team including but not limited to changes and update vendor integration

* Identify and recommend improvements for the benefits process including implementation and document changes

* Assist Benefits Manager in overseeing and communication and strategy in planning the benefits programs

* Involvement of training HR partners/Payroll partners on benefits processes

* Awareness of benefits and wellness trends and new practices within the technology space

Payroll/Reporting/Compliance

* Liaise with payroll team to communicate changes to employee pay resulting from benefit changes including open enrollment, employee qualifications, and new hire selections

* Provide benefit reports and dashboard data, partnering with HR Analyst

* Ensure company compliance with federal and state laws HR Administration

* Handle leave of absences, and administer accordingly, acting as the main point of contact for leave of absence requests and updates

* Coordinate time away and pay as employee liaison to vendor and payroll team

* Manage return to work process for employees

* Maintain leave status in Workday

* Support retirement plan administration (employee communications, annual audit reviews, mid-year testing and compliance notices)

* Support open enrollment process and develop communication materials

The Successful Applicant

Successful Benefits Analyst Applicant Qualifications:

* 4 year Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

* Workday systems experience strongly preferred

* Extensive knowledge of best practices in HRIS/ATS/Benefits Administration System

* 5+ years benefits experience, 2 years in a similar role

* Advanced written and verbal communication, Excel and Outlook

* Strong analytical and project management skills

* Willingness to be proactive with the ability to work independently and on a team

* Excellent customer service skills and professional discretion with confidential employee information

* Experience with annual 401(k) audits and website content management a major plus

* Public speaking and presentation ability

* Knowledge in current labor law
