Job Description

Billing Coordinator Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare time downloads for clients/categories for partners, principals, managers, or supervisors, for analysis
  • Prepare prebills at the beginning of a billing process
  • Drafting bills according to billing instructions, ensuring that time and disbursements are billed accordingly
  • Finalizing drafts once they are approved and mailing invoices on timely basis
  • Assisting in time and disbursement editing and report distribution
  • Following up during the month with the billing timekeeper on projected billings
  • Maintenance of client files
  • Prepare monthly retainers and month-end statements

The Successful Applicant

Minimum Education & Other Requirements for Billing Coordinator

  • Associates degree required
  • Prior experience in a Public Accounting firm or professional service firm preferred
  • Adherent or Elite experience a plus
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Excellent organizational skills required
