About Our Client
My client is a leading global economic research and consultancy firm. As part of their growth strategy my client is looking to expand their sales team.
The key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager will be to: * Generating leads through cold call, webinars and events * Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close * Work with the Sales Director to grow the pipeline and the business * Through market analysis, identify key companies in the territory, key individuals within companies, and establish relationships with these prospects * Create and execute strategies to sell subscription products * Manage relationships with existing clients to ensure a smooth renewal process and work on upselling new subscription products * Create sales presentations and lead webinars with prospective clients * Prepare weekly sales reports to be shared with senior management If you are interested, please apply!
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Business Development Manager will have: * Bachelor degree required ideally in International Affairs or Economics * A proven track record * Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales * Experience selling to senior executives (managing directors, board level) * Strong lead generator / experienced cold calling * Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once * Candidate must have strong presentation and writing skills
