About Our Client
Our client is a formulator, blender, manufacturer, packager and wholesale distributor of chemical products; specializing in automotive & heavy duty diesel fluids. With plants across the world, their footprint is growing rapidly and they have an aggressive growth plan for the US Business Unit.
Create and execute a business plan to better penetrate the Heavy Duty (B2B) equipment markets to maximize business development through new accounts.
Identify customer needs, develop relationships with Distributors and end-users and present their brand proposition, including a range of service support to meet customer needs.
Reporting into the Sales Director, this will be a remote role and can be anywhere in the Continental USA; extensive travel will be required. Ideal candidate will be located in a metropolitan area in the Midwest.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent training/experience
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements; in the automotive or Heavy Duty fluids market
Ability to analyze data and determine appropriate actions to improve product positions
Detailed understanding of consumer product profitability levers (price, gross margins, net margins etc.).
Solid understanding of manufacture - customer processes regarding operations, plant capacity purchasing and accounting.
Demonstrated experience in the Heavy Duty LUBRICANTS, COOLANTS or HYDRAULICS business is strongly desired.
