Job Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Plan, prepare and carry out the schedule of visits to all customers while also prospecting future business in their geographical area.
  • Work closely with customers with regard to product specifications, prices, availability and shipment of samples in order to ensure a prompt and swift response to customer needs.
  • Contribute to solve Technical and commercial issues raised by customers, in partnership with the customer service, production planning and finance dept. to ensure customer satisfaction, by providing an integrated service.
  • Identify and develop joint solutions, together with the customer's or partner's technical team.
  • College and distribute full application, technical and commercial issues regarded with the project to work closely with and support of the Global Segment Manager/Global Technical Manager, with the intention of translating customer needs into technical specifications, with the goal of developing solutions tailored to segment customer needs.

The Successful Applicant

The Ideal Sales Manager will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree is a must
  • 1-2 years of B2B sales
  • Must have a technical aptitude
  • Experience dealing with distributors, dealers, contractors, architects & specifiers, management companies, developers, or hard surface flooring manufacturers are a PLUS
  • Experience in DIY is a PLUS
  • Self motivated, entrepreneurial, and eager to learn
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Results oriented
  • Ability to travel extensively (minimum of 40%)
