Job Description

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for working fairly autonomously on a high volume caseload as well as managing the work of paralegals. .

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and process a high volume of incoming cases, including EB-5 (willing to train EB-5 skills)
  • Draft, prepare and file IV & NIV cases, including: H-1B, H-1B1, L-1, L-1A, L-1B, O-1A, E-2, E-3, B-1/B-2, TN, J-1; PERM, I-140; EB-1, EB-2 & EB-3
  • Deliver high quality client management services at all times
  • Oversee paralegals and legal assistants, delegating casework appropriately
  • Train paralegals and junior associates
  • Work closely with other attorneys and delegate work to associates when needed
  • Help with business development and marketing initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • JD from a US, ABA accredited law school with excellent credentials
  • Admission to a US State Bar, in good standing
  • 3-8 years of broad based IV, NIV and EB-5 (preferred) experience gained at a boutique business immigration firm or full service immigration/Am Law 100 firm
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must currently be working with a high volume caseload
  • Must be able to work autonomously
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience developing business desired
  • Must be a team player
