About Our Client
Our client has a global presence in over 20 countries and over 100,000 employees. A leader in their field, they are looking to strengthen their procurement function further by appointing an experienced Professional Services procurement professional.
Execute RFX sourcing projects to deliver quality, service, and commercial benefits
Develop effective relationships with key internal stakeholders to gain a detailed understanding of main drivers and requirements while providing support, guidance and cost effective solutions.
Analyze indirect spend within categories to enable informed decision-making and ensure sourcing efforts leverage market intelligence, TCO analysis and modern negotiation methods such as e-sourcing.
Negotiate, review and execute the implementation of contractual arrangements per company policy and business objectives
Educate end users on contract execution and compliance in conjunction with legal objectives.
Assist in developing and maintaining template master agreements for common and/or critical contracting situations.
Assist in creation of policy and procedures for reviewing supplier performance against contracted obligations and service levels.
Manage the sourcing strategy development, requirements gathering, request for proposal, supplier selection and contract negotiation components of the sourcing process.
Lead supplier selection and recommendation activities including qualitative and quantitative analysis, selection criteria, long and short lists, RFI and RFP development and analysis
Work with minimal supervision to pro-actively reduce indirect expenditures and to achieve or exceed targeted cost reductions for assigned Categories.
Participate in Procurement projects that support the deployment of automated procurement systems, tools and process improvements.
The Successful Applicant
3 - 5 years Professional Services procurement experience.
Bachelor's degree in Procurement or Supply Chain.
Demonstrated Application of Project Management Skills, Supplier Performance Management, Category Strategy Development & Application, Sourcing, Supply Chain Risk Management, Contract Execution & Management, Materials Management, Negotiating & Influencing Strategy, Financial & Change Management Skills.
Detailed specific category expertise in: Indirect Categories, Professional Services, logistics, e-Procurement and Consulting.
Natural change agent possessing the analytical skills needed to drive organizational transformation.
Contract experience in different types of Indirect and SOW agreements.
Demonstrate delivery in a complex Indirect sourcing environment.
Cross functional/organizational team management & facilitation skills (internal & external)
Exhibits understanding of purpose for bringing out the best in people, developing internal & external relationships
Demonstrated data analysis capability
Must be a strong strategic thinker and able to succinctly communicate the vision/strategy to internal customers
Skills in conflict resolution and negotiation
