Participate in strategic and tactical business planning & implementation, requiring close communication and interaction with senior leaders (members of the ELT and the Senior Leadership Team)
Project manage all phases of assigned initiatives, engaging appropriate business areas as necessary
Acts as a point of contact between senior management, employees and other stakeholders
Coordinate and prepare for all meetings/events attended by the President and CEO
Design and plan special off-sites for the department
Review industry data on a periodic basis and prepare reports, trend analysis and executive summaries
Direct the work of administrative team to ensure they are aligned with the priorities of the PO, and performed in an efficient and timely manner. The work of the Senior Executive Assistant's administrative team includes responding to all incoming emails, phone calls, and other communications with the PO, quickly and professionally (see "Manage all administrative staff and processes of the PO" below for further details)
The Successful Applicant
Organizational Skills. Anticipate, improvise, and adapt for optimal resolutions. Consistently manage workloads effectively, use resources efficiently, and orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal. Ensure that all follow up responsibilities are completed timely and with minimal supervision.
Communication Skills. Ability to write clearly and succinctly. Can communicate effectively with senior executives and other audiences. Presents articulately and persuasively to individuals or groups.
Judgment. Exercise judgment in and raising matters as appropriate to the attention of the President and CEO. Interact comfortably with senior executives and craft approaches likely to be seen as appropriate and positive.
Leadership. Adapt leadership style to meet the needs of a team. Inspire and empower team to commit to a change or challenge; has passion for the work, the organization and people.
