Job Description

The Civil Construction Project Manager will work closely with the construction team to:

  • Review, submit and track RFI's and RFP's
  • Weekly and monthly reporting to go over billing and construction schedule
  • Effectively manage project, subcontractors, vendors and project team
  • Prepare construction timeline and budget
  • Effectively manage the timeline to complete project on time and within budget
  • Use Primavera P6 or similar software to track progress and report to Management
  • Manage change orders, coordinate these with Management Team
  • Provide quick and confident problem solving abilities
  • Report all cost overruns, delays and safety concerns to Management Team

The Successful Applicant

In order to be considered for the Civil Construction Project Manager based in New York it is critical you demonstrate:

  • Working knowledge of civil construction sites for over 7 years
  • Ability to efficiently run teams on-site
  • Ability to hold meetings with management and potential clients
  • Understand the public sector and compliance of codes
  • Excited to join a company and team looking to expand their portfolio
  • Proven ability working on highways, roads, bridge and utility projects
