About Our Client

Our client is a consumer product goods in fast pace growth and currently undergoing a lot of positive transformation withing the brand positioning and communication. With a double digit growth and improving penetration on general markets, our client sells products through top national retailers, regional retail chains, as well as online marketplaces. The group has a well established operation internationally, but in the U.S operations still a small company size and in expansion. For those reasons, we require a very "hands on" manager that can fit well with a "startup like" environment and challenges.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the key Responsibilities of the role will be:

  • Provide leadership and vision to develop and execute offline and digital marketing strategies across multiple channels, generating brand awareness and driving trade and online traffic to retailers and product websites to grow sales.
  • Manage all agency and partner relationships that supplement internal marketing efforts to enable successful marketing programs to scale effectively and efficiently.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute on promotional calendar and core business objectives.
  • Navigate with all Brand Managers and Head of Marketing to understand differences in the portfolio strategies and support the decision to define the ideal agency to partner and what will be the SLAs and deliverables needed to control the execution of the communication strategy.
  • Drive all functions associated with creating, launching, managing and optimizing innovative lead generation-driven digital marketing campaigns including paid search, SEO, display advertising, social media, mobile marketing, blogs and video.
  • Support the creation and implementation of digital marketing programs that grow customer LTV, satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive content development and engage and grow audiences by building a community through the social media networks.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure results and enhance digital marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop and lead a digital marketing team, providing management and guidance to grow individual and organizational capabilities.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry best practices, competition and trends.
  • Plan and control the budget for all media spending related activities

The Successful Applicant

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum ten years progressive experience in consumer goods marketing, whether it was in a media agency or industry
  • Must have at least 4-5 years of experience growing online businesses by developing and executing digital marketing strategies including paid search, SEO, display advertising, affiliate marketing, social media, mobile marketing, blogs and video.
  • Strong understanding of a wide range of marketing best practices that drive lead generation, customer acquisition and brand building.
  • Highly creative, able to identify target audiences and develop marketing campaigns that inform and engage.
  • Proven track record of strategic decision making and problem solving while managing an external media agency, being data driven and analytic on ROI.
  • Experience managing a six-figure marketing budget.
  • First-rate collaborative and communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of online marketing tools
  • BS Degree, MBA is a plus

This position is an engagement role that will function as the key driver between product and brand strategy and third part media agencies, making sure the the strategies match the tactical and operational execution at the point of contact and point of sale (online and offline / ATL and BTL).
