Job Description

  • Oversight of the day-to-day financial operations and processes including AP, AR, Inventory/Cost Accounting, payroll, and support.
  • The preparation and submission of monthly financial statements and the financial analysis of results. Provide variance explanations for actuals compared to plan, forecast and prior year.
  • Managing the financial planning and forecasting processes. Delivering accurate and timely monthly financial forecasts. Providing measurable and accurate financial targets to evaluate the performance of the business.
  • Leading, driving and implementing changes to simplify processes and eliminate complexity within the business that will enhance financial performance.
  • Contributing to the creation and implementation of strategic plans.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 8 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, cost reduction, inventory costing and control, operational accounting, financial statement management and team leadership.
  • The ability to engage and drive a team of highly motivated employees.
  • Strong coach and mentor with the ability to hire, develop and retain a diverse pipeline of great talent.
  • Ability to facilitate and drive change within the department and organization.
  • Proven strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, and the ability to create, collaborate and work within team environments.
