About Our Client
My client are an established consumer goods business providing innovative and entrepreneurial logistics services into the United States. They boast a broad and high profile client portfolio which attests to their market reputation and exceptional service levels. Due to expansion, they are currently searching for an experienced Customer Service Manager to join their downtown Manhattan office, overseeing a close-knit and high performing team.
Your responsibilities in this role will revolve around staff management. You will be directly responsible for managing the performance and day to day activities of a small team of experienced Customer Service Officers. This includes measuring their performance metrics, providing coaching, guidance and mentor-ship and assisting with the prioritization of work-flow. Additionally you will be tasked with liaising with both the warehouse and inventory team to resolve escalated customer inquiries and support the resolution of logistical problems.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this position you will possess prior staff management experience within a customer service head office environment. Your exposure to a retail and/or food and beverage industry sector will be highly regarded as will be your understanding of warehouse and inventory management processes. A Bachelors Degree is required as is your commitment to assist with the growth and trajectory this business is set for in Manhattan! Finally, you must be confident using Apple/MAC systems and drive a team culture which prides itself on accountability, perseverance and excellence.
