About Our Client

Our client is a global leader in packaging manufacturing for cosmetic& food clients across the US. Due to an immense growth within the last 2 years, we are hiring a Customer Service / Sales Support Assistant for the Los Angeles (Carson, CA) office.

Job Description

  • Manage multiple client accounts and work with them on a day to day basis
  • Ensure that orders are correct and that they are received on time
  • Keep track of customer accounts, organize payment schedules, and offer pricing
  • Plan and develop packaging for new and existing clients
  • Coordinate physical inventory with other offices to allow for timely deliveries to clients
  • Help purchase new items from manufactories as well as update the client on shipping times and tracking information
  • Send out samples of packaging to new and existing clients
  • Prepare and assist the team on sales calls as well as at conventions
  • Organize and track upcoming shipments, inbound products, and transfers
  • Update customers on new items / Enter Sales Orders received via e-mail, fax or telephone / Create sales order confirmations
  • Follow-up with warehouse to make sure that their shipments are made on time
  • Report on any questionable transactions, late payment, short payments, returns, and quality issues

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Similiar work experience in customer service role (preferrably in packaging, cosmetic or manufacturing industry)
  • 2-4 years of work experience in Customer Service or Sales Support role
