About Our Client

Our client is a global leading technology company with location in New Jersey

Job Description

Our client is looking to target a Customer Service Specialist to support the senior sales management team.

  • Input and acknowledge customer orders, check stock availability and validate pricing
  • Provide freight quotes or packing lists as requested
  • Resolve sales order queries by liaising with the internal sales team
  • Daily liaison with hub operations re order schedule and query resolution
  • Highlight any hub issue to operations team
  • Track and resolve shipment issues
  • Work with the internet based CRM system (Salesforce) ensuring accurate data entry
  • Update partner status to Authorized when documentation / checks are complete
  • Liaise with credit controller, stock controller, Edinburgh Sales Orders team as required
  • Handle customer inquires / complaints / requests / license upgrades

The Successful Applicant

  • Someone with minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Customer Service role - (internal and external customers)
  • Preferably have experience in a Sales Order processing or Logistics role where orders are fulfilled globally (but not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with: global sales team, customers and manufacturing plants
  • Must have a great attention to detail
  • Computer literate, including excellent Excel skills
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills and a confident, outgoing personality
  • Good organizational skills and capable of multitasking
  • Capable of working well under pressure
  • Must be a good team player
  • Customs knowledge would be advantageous but not required
  • Spanish language skills would be advantageous but not essential
