Job Description

The person that fills this position should be able to assist with the design of custom products that fill customers' needs by asking appropriate questions and understanding their requirements. There should be an awareness as to when more information is needed. The candidate needs to be able to demonstrate to the customer their understanding through words and drawings. To work with senior management to create and compile day-to-day job specific information through the use of detailed CAD drawings, customer-supplied specifications and customer interaction all in a fast-paced custom manufacturing job-shop. This person will interface with both customers and shop employees to best communicate job requirements to all involved, and will be expected to assist with sales and call on both new and existing customers.

  • Manage client accounts with outcome of high customer satisfaction, strong relationship retention and account growth



  • Develop an understanding of the client's business environment and strategy
  • Proficient in account planning and understanding of budget management
  • Manage forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis


  • 3+ years external experience with proven consultative sales with or adjacent to municipalities, preferably experienced in high technology, with evidence of prior success in Sales and Relationship Management


  • Practitioner within Design & Technology
  • Ability to execute the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
