About Our Client

Michael Page are representing a leading Student Housing and Multifamily Developer and investor in Texas communities who are seeking a Director of Asset Management to join their senior management team and lead in the future direction of the business.

Job Description

Having a strong focus on the strategic growth of the organization this candidate will be leading the asset management team, developing and motivating all team members to preform at the highest standards. Alongside this the role and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Participate in the strategic implementation of property-level revenue enhancement opportunities through participation in marketing calls (rent pricing) and regional and/or national agreements specifically related to ancillary revenue opportunities
  • Participate in property level budget review and approval process utilizing portfolio metrics to accurately evaluate and forecast property level NOI and cash flow, and monitor property and portfolio performance
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of property level strategic plans including comparison, evaluation and forecasting of revenues and expenses, capital expenses (asset enhancing and asset preservation), market conditions (supply / demand / timing), and developing short and long range strategies to maximize value and returns

The Successful Applicant

Our client are looking for the Director of Asset management to have:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years of experience in a multi-family or student housing environment performing asset management functions strongly preferred.
  • Multi-family or student housing property operations
  • Valuation methodology/techniques
  • Contract Negotiation
