International real estate conglomerate seeking a Director of Construction
Immediate need due to projected kickoff of first project in April
About Our Client
The Vice President of Construction will be responsible for: * Developing and managing project plans, schedules, and scopes of work. * Managing all construction operations in Northern California. * Interfacing with the development team to make sure all projects are appropriately scheduled and managed. * Overseeing the Project Managers running each project. * Assuming financial responsibilities for projects including accurate, timely, and relevant reporting to stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Applicant * Bachelor's degree required, construction or engineering focus preferred. * Previous high rise construction experience preferred. * Previous employment at an owner/developer or General Contractor working on multifamily construction projects. * Well-established in the local market to ensure strong relationships with the subcontractors. * Entrepreneurial mindset to establish business practices and processes in real time while the company cements their presence in the California market. * Hands-on approach to project oversight.
