Job Description

The HR Director will partner with senior management and the front line managers and employees seeking guidance on a diverse range of topics to help these business groups achieve their business targets. The Director of HR is an expert in all areas of HR with a strong emphasis on performance management, Employee Relations, change management and Organizational Development. The company focusing on building a high performance, supportive work environment.

  • Partner with business leaders in creating the people components of the business strategy and development
  • Bring best practice and external perspectives to strategic and operational business discussions and people management decision-making
  • Organize and implement core HR processes
  • Develop and coach senior management and leaders on people related matters
  • Support employee relations issues





Leadership Development:

  • Build a strong leadership pipeline
  • Develop strategy and guidance for organizational planning
  • Develop strong leadership and management training programs





Development of Culture:

  • Partner with leaders in maintain an upbeat collaborative working culture that supports the business strategy, encourages employee engagement and inspires performance excellence
  • Diagnose opportunities to improve the performance of the organization utilizing tools to measure organization effectiveness (e.g. 360 feedback, surveys, employee metrics) as well as informal awareness of pulse of the organization
  • Consult with various leaders on enabling team effectiveness, and implement impactful solutions
  • Develop surveys and gather data and predictive analytics to identify organizational effectiveness opportunities that will measure an impact on the company





Performance & Rewards:

  • Educate, and develop a philosophy of strong performance and practices within the businesses to ensure consistency and equality that inspires a stronger employee and organizational performance
  • Advise leaders in dealing with employee relations issues;
  • Partner with management teams to understand trends in employee performance issues and advise on appropriate remediation.





Workforce Planning:

  • Partner with the Director of Staffing and VP, Human Resources to ensure overall alignment of the workforce plan and execution of plan
  • Create a talent roadmap that allows the organization to achieve its strategy
  • Plan for potential workforce scenarios





Change Management:

  • Partner with VP, Human Resources in the change management strategy designed to support the organization; customize the strategy as appropriate to meet G&A needs
  • Advise leaders on leading their teams through organizational change
  • Deliver both short-term and long-term problems by addressing immediate challenges and underlying causes

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant HR Business Partner experience
  • Candidates with significant experience working with media or advertising industry is highly preferable in this role
  • Previous experience working with senior leaders, leading teams and working in complex matrix organizations is a must
  • Ability to function well in ambiguous situations
  • Demonstrated success in developing innovative solutions to solve business issues
  • Experience in growing global business and positive culture across all levels of an organization
  • Possess strong influencing and interpersonal skills
