Our Client is a Leading Consumer Goods firm

Job Description

  • Work closely with the Head of Information Systems and his staff to define the Information Systems strategy and roadmap that is fully aligned with business priorities
  • Lead, manage and mentor internal and external project managers, ensuring each has the tools and knowledge needed to be successful
  • Own and actively deploy the standard Heineken Project Delivery Methodology, continually provide input for improvement to methodology and act as ambassador to external project managers
  • In addition to leading the PMO, manage large and medium sized IT projects as needed
  • Act as the Enterprise PMO lead, providing portfolio management and PM expertise to large business projects in addition to Information System projects
  • For all projects/programs in the Technology portfolio, own responsibility to ensure (whether directly managed or overseeing other project managers):
    • Project contract and all associated documentation is created and signed off by the Project Board or respective parties
    • Resources are forecasted, planned and allocated either internally or via external providers
    • Effectively challenge and manage expectations when all project prerequisites are not met or jeopardize delivery of overall project landscape
    • Define, plan, request and secure resources/skills to meet project and program requirements
    • Manage the project through its phases, monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Project Board and other stakeholders
    • Ensure Project handover to support (run) is planned and managed in close cooperation with the local Service Delivery Manager
    • Close project with proper documentation including lessons learned
  • Manage and report status on projects' portfolio, budget, risk, quality and resources
  • Agree on the most impactful delivery, GIS operational and business KPIs and stabilization metrics, set the baseline and monitor them together with our partners and the business
  • Keep up-to-date with Project Management industry standards and best-practices, external networking, and renewal of certification(s)

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years managing a PMO
  • Overall understanding of OpCo business processes
  • CPG experience is a plus
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Relevant and recent experience leading projects from start to finish in multiple of the areas below:
    • Large scale technical / infrastructure projects
    • Investment, divestment & business integration projects
    • Large scale solution build & deployments across multiple OpCos
    • Large scale Master Data Management rollout projects
    • Digital (not marketing) projects
    • Relevant and recent experience leading projects in multiple industrial segments
    • Relevant and recent experience in managing external vendors, resources and contracts
    • Relevant and recent experience leading projects in multiple geographic locations, time zones and cultures
    • Relevant and recent experience in execution of business change management as part of a project
    • Relevant and recent experience in smoothly transitioning (technical) project deliverables to the standing (RUN) organization
    • Relevant and recent experience in managing and coaching large ERP implementations
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts to business language
